Using Organic Mulches
Snakeroot Organic Farm may be the largest mulcher in the state, annually mulching two acres of annual and perennial crops, using NO plastic mulches. To do this we use old hay, fresh cut hay, whole and shredded leaves, wood chips and newspaper in various combinations and depending on the crop.
